How To Measure Dress Length From Shoulder

Measure from the hollow just under your neck to the floor. Start the end of the tape on the outside edge of the shoulder where you want the yoke of the shirt to start.

How to measure dress length from shoulder. At the widest point of the wrist, measure its circumference. Button up the shirt and spread the shirt out on its front. Shoulder to shoulder:measure this length from one shoulder to another. Raise your arm parallel to floor and wrap measure tape around the armpit across the outside edge of shoulder.

The length is not measured starting from the garment neckline. This is the width of your shoulder. Our tailor will make dress 5cm longer to allow for being in bare feet.

Measure from your shoulder to just past your wrist bone to where you would like your shirt cuff to sit. Required only for sleeve dress. Place the tape close under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back.

Measure from your natural waist to the dress hem. Arm length is from the top of your arm to your wrist, this measurement starts at the shoulder and is often used for casual shirt sizing. This is where the horizontal part of the shoulder meets the vertical part of the arm.
